Hoisting the sails on a new voyage

We have officially shut down our units Camposol Rainbows, Brownies and Guides and are reopening as 1st Murcia Sur Guiding and Scouting.

To give you a little of the background, we spent just over two years looking for suitable men to run a Scouting Unit to compliment our Guiding units. Many of our girls had brothers who were being left out of the adventure we give. So after numerous media appeals and knocking on doors we had just thought we found someone when due to unfortunate circumstances he was unable to run the Scouting.

So after a leader meeting we decided we would apply for the permission to run the units as joint Guiding and Scouting. We are pleased to say this was granted and we open our doors to all the girls and boys in the area this month.

We will be running the two programmes concurrently. more
