Suffern man picks up trash as part of civic duty
La Placa spent Friday picking up trash along Tweed Boulevard at Blauvelt Park, collecting seven bags of papers, bottles, cans, old juice boxes and candy wrappers before taking a break. The stack of white plastic bags resting near a stop sign at Tweed and Clausland Mountain Road officially marked his 1,000th bag of litter this year.
"John doesn't go looking for publicity," said Andy Stewart, executive director of Keep Rockland Beautiful. "I want other people to know about him. He is a shining example of an environmentalist who walks the walk." La Placa grew up in Orangetown and has worked for Verizon for 30 years, two reasons why he knows the county so well. His interest in cleaning up the county's fields, streams and byways comes from two directions: his passion for hunting and fishing, and his interest in Scouting.

Voting Question: Which phone should i get?
I've got a budget up to about £250, although im not too happy about going that high.
I can get hold of a Samsung Omnia for about that. I've researched them and they sound good, but maybe too technical for me? It does loads and im wondering if i need all that. It looks really pretty and thats a big thing im looking for in a phone. I also like the LG PRADA but it doesn't really do anything even slightly interesting, its just a phone, but the layout and stuff is cool. And it looks stunning.
So, i don't know what to do?
the omnia is alot more expensive obviously, and i dont want to feel out of my depth with it.
are there any other phones in that candy bar touch screen style that might appeal to me?

I work in an office with an open cubicle layout. Yesterday I had a bag of those little Mike and Ike shaped licorice candies on my desk. One of my coworkers walks by me and very loudly says "Oh, I didn't realize that was candy! Those looked like tranquilizers to me!" He made a reference to the legal medications I take and said he wouldn't be surprised if I did use drugs based on how frail I look.
The truth is I'm Bipolar and have mild seizures. The medications I take are on a 4 dose per day schedule, so I end up taking them at my desk. I look a little sickly at times due to kidney problems caused by a mood stabilizer I used to take. I'm 21 but my face looks a little worn from stress and the effects of medications. My boss and coworkers are aware of all of this.
This incident was VERY embarassing. If this was some type of joke it wasn't very funny. I kind of played it down, but it still made me uncomfortable. How do I approach this guy and tell him how I felt?

So it will be a white DS Lite styled layout. I want the DPad buttons to be the scrolling buttons (click on up and the screen scrolls up for ex.)
