Don't coddle young criminals
We're not talking about a kid who swiped a candy bar from the store (that's what the original idea of the young offenders act was for).
These are kids who have committed a violent act. They deserve to go to adult prison.
We are not the same culture we were 20 years ago, we have allowed some violent groups to immigrate.
Think about it the next time you see a teenager with a gun.
Tell him he's just misunderstood and confused ... then run like hell.

Becky Frisch, of St. Joseph, said she's attended the parade since it first began. Since her cousin's house faces King Hill Avenue, her family makes an event of it every year.
“We camp out here," she said, “It's a family tradition."
Just a few houses down on Indiana Avenue, George Steidel, of St. Joseph, has waited on the street's corner to snap some pictures of the parade since it first began.
“My wife and I like pictures," he said, “We have albums and albums full of them."
Mr. Steidel admits his frustration lately with rushed drivers trying to pass through the parade's route on the corner of Indiana and Gordon avenues. more
