We went to a Chinese/Thai food restaurant in the summer, and one of their dishes was really good. It had piece of chicken in a sauce with different vegetable(I think I can remember baby corn, but not much else) The sauce was white and was flavored with lemon grass and coconut milk, and something else that made it spicy(but wasn't coloured) possibly curry. I already speak Chinese. If you leave out the tones in Chinese, what's left is almost nonsensical. I'm learning Thai from someone who insists that tones aren't very important and a foreigner can make himself understood in Thai without learning the tones initially. I'm making a composite picture (combining a bunch of pictures of that race) to come up with a general face. Im looking for Volunteers of the following races: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Khmer, Lao, Tibetan, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Singaporean, Indonesian, and Filipino. I need 2 pictures of your face stating your most accurate race (so if your mixed, state what races you fall under). I need you to be in your mid 20's, Female, and fall between a weight of 90-120 lbs (40-54 kg). I need both a front and side shot of only the face. Okay, my dad working with UN. last year he went to burma, he took a lot of pictures in burma, those are surprised me that most of the pedestrian burmese tend to look like east indians, beside far east asians. I actually find they have got beautiful eyes, all of them have a narrow nose tip ( look slightly Caucasians faraway relatives.) they also have got dark complexion like the east indians as well. but its curio used me.why most of the burmese celebrities, thai celebrities, Indonesian celebrities always have to the one who have got fair complexion and have facial features lean toward chinese or japanese? why most of south east asians do not find their own ppl pretty? why many of the south east asian UN officers came back and say that the burmese are lesser attractive than vietnamese and chinese just because they have got dark complexion? yes, I know fair complexion look clean but I think when the dark complexion people have their make-up on, they look prettier than fair complexion far east asians. I may want to reclaim my original family's surname. I want to change it so I can't have my ancestor's name and it shorter than my current one. My family's surname was change to a longer one 60 to 100 years ago when my great grandfather moved to Thailand from China. He may come from Guangdong or Fujian Province of China which I may have Cantonese, Hakka, and/or have Teochew ancestry. He came to Thailand for finding jobs. He was forced by the law to adopt longer Thai surnames and become "Thai" and not "Chinese". My current surname has the Korean surname "Cho" which is a prefix of it (but I'm not Korean). It has ten letters in it. It's unique and harder to trace back to my ancestors because it's made up. My original family's surname may be "Chao" which is similar to the I'm having in my name. However, it may not be it because I don't know where he came from and my father doesn't know it too. Should I take a DNA test to see what surname my ancestors had?  more

How do you feel about this? I came across some disturbing videos of restaurants in these threee countries. They hang dogs with a rope until death and chuck alive and well cats into boilers, so they can skin them after. Many cats are known to survive upto 10 seconds before fully dying. Dogs are hung because the Chinese believe that it tastes better when it's that freshly dead. I know what a lot of answers will be saying "what makes slaughter houses in the west any better?" "Why is it ok to eat pig, cow, etc? But the Chinese still to this day believe that tiger penis is a cure for health issues but all scientistic studies that have been have found no evidence. But yet the Chinese continue to kill wild tigers that are almost extinct because they believe in fairytales? So my question is....aren't they a little backward?
